Shadow of the Swan - art by Geoff Taylor

Description

In this painting by Geoff Taylor there is a vast landscape with mountains in the distance with a deep blue sky. At the base of the mountains lies a futuristic city just visible in the low bands of mist. In the foreground is an imposing rotund tower structure, at the top of this are turret type projections and slit windows. Around this tower are birds of prey flying. A river flows from the city past rocky cliffs and then past the tower.
